Family History 1

We are a group who share an enthusiasm for tracing our own family histories, albeit with quite varying levels of experience in doing so.
During our meetings we try to help each other in our genealogical endeavours by exchanging knowledge and tips about topics, techniques, reference books, family history software and online resources. Sometimes one member of the group will have prepared a short presentation on a given topic, although we always make time to update each other any progress and things we have discovered.
Until recently we have run most of our meetings on Zoom, a habit picked up during the Covid-19 period, but recently we have started to meet face-to-face much more frequently. We also arrange occasional group outings, for example a recent group visit to the National Archives.
